The mention of smart sensors and expanded drainage shows that they’re trying to build something more sustainable, which is definitely needed given how frequently Lagos battles with flooding.
Still, while it’s great to see action, the real test will be how quickly and effectively this floodwater evacuation is handled, and whether residents actually feel the relief soon.
