The Federal Government has extended the deadline for applications to join the Federal Civil Service to March 17, 2025. This decision follows complaints from many applicants who encountered difficulties accessing the recruitment portal. The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) had initially set the deadline for March 10, 2025, but after acknowledging the technical issues some faced, the deadline was extended.
FCSC spokesperson Hassan Taiwo confirmed that while some applicants were able to register successfully, others faced challenges. To ensure more eligible candidates can apply, the new deadline provides additional time for submissions. The updated information has been made available on the FCSC website and will appear in national newspapers such as The Sun, The Nation, and Daily Trust.
