Governor Ademola Adeleke has firmly denied claims that he is defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), dismissing the rumors as “baseless” and politically motivated. Speaking during a PDP leadership meeting in Osogbo, he reaffirmed his loyalty to the party and stated that the speculation was spread by individuals unsettled by the progress being made in Osun State under his administration.
Adeleke emphasized, “I remain in PDP. Ignore any fake news,” directly addressing concerns among party members and supporters. The meeting was notably attended by key PDP figures, including former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, who joined virtually, further reinforcing party unity.
